Syston Town Council were saddened to learn of the passing of Councillor Harold Screaton

Syston Town Council were saddened to learn of the passing of Councillor Harold Screaton.

Harold served on all the committees of Syston Town Council in the past and many of you will be aware of his contribution and service over the years.

His career was principally in engineering. The fire post and sign, now situated on Park Square, Syston from the former Syston Fire station, was renovated by Harold and will be a lasting memorial to him.

Our sympathies and thoughts are with his family and friends, at this sad time.
