(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC)

(TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF ONE-WAY SYSTEMS)

Notice is hereby given that the Leicestershire County Council intends not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984.  It is expected that the Order will come into force on 02nd August 2022 and have a maximum duration of 3 months. The works will be completed within the period of the Order. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 2 weeks. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public safety to allow City Fibre safely undertake Telecoms Ducting works and any other various Utility and highway maintenance works. The proposed diversion route will be via: Brookside, Brook Street, High Street and vice versa.

SCHEDULE 1

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC

Chapel Street – between junction of Brookside and High Street.

Brookside – between Chapel Street to where it meets School Street.

St Peters Street – closed at its junction with Brookside

Chapel Close – closed at its junction with Chapel Street
