The Business and Planning Act 2020 (Pavement Licences) (Coronavirus) (Amendment) Regulations 2021 which extend temporary pavement licence provisions to September 30, 2022, came into effect yesterday (July 20).

If you have an existing licence issued by Charnwood Borough Council, you will need to reapply as there is no facility to automatically extend current licences. The Council are developing a shortened application form for existing licence holders to make the process easier.
All existing licensees who have been granted pavement licenses by Charnwood Borough Council will be contacted directly once the new form is available. There is no need to contact us beforehand.
All new applications will need to be made using the original application form
